2011-12 Season: Appeared in six tournaments for Delaware, ranking third on the squad with a 76.53 average round • tied for third place at the Manor Intercollegiate with a one over par 72-69-76-217 • that performance earned him CAA Co-Men’s Golfer of the Week honors on April 18 • carded a four over par 71-74-75-220 to tie for fourth place at the George Washington Invitational • named National 5&10 Blue Hen Athlete of the Week on March 19.
High School: All-State selection as a senior at Caesar Rodney High School • finished second in the 2011 DIAA State Tournament • captured Henlopen Conference individual titles during his final two years • three-time first team All-Conference selection • led Caesar Rodney to an undefeated 2011 season and the state championship • Riders went 62-2-1 during his four years and captured the 2008, 2010 and 2011 conference team titles • runner up in the 2010 Player of the Year rankings for the Junior PGA: Philly Section • five-time winner with 10 top-10 finishes on the Junior PGA: Philly Section Tour • posted a pair of top-10 finishes in IJGT Tournaments during the 2010-11 year • honor roll student and member of National Honor Society.
Personal: Nathaniel “Niño” Rufino Rosal • son of Rufino and Caric Rosal • has a younger brother, Matthew • exercise science major at Delaware with a medical scholal concentration • worked at Smyrna Medical Associates over the summer • enjoys snowboarding, fishing and tennis during his free time • team representative on the UD Student-Athlete Advisory Council.
