University of Delaware Men’s Golf Coach Mike Keogh Announces the Addition of Ben Conroy, Fraser Graham To Blue Hen Program

NEWARK, Del. -- University of Delaware men’s golf head coach Mike Keogh has announced that Ben Conroy and Fraser Graham have joined the Blue Hen program and will begin competing for UD this fall.

Conroy (at right) recently completed his sophomore season at Division II Coker College, and will have two years of eligibility remaining with the Blue Hens. Conroy placed sixth at the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate after finishing two over par, leading the Cobras to the team title. He tied for 16th place at the Conference Carolinas Championship, and finished second at the Carolina Sands Intercollegiate with a seven under par score during the two rounds.

Athlete photoConroy, a native of Durham, Conn. (Cogihehang Regional HS), was also named to the Conference Carolinas Academic All-Conference Team. He appeared in all 10 tournaments for Coker this past season, averaging 75.12 shots per round.

Graham (at left), a native of Princeton, N.J. (Princeton HS) won the 2010 New Jersey Tournament of Champions and the 2010 High School Garden State Cup. He was a first team All-State selection as a junior, when he was tabbed the NJPGA/NJSIAA High School Player of the Year.

This year Graham defended his Mercer County Tournament High School Championship by capturing the invitational for the second consecutive year, and also claimed the 2011 South Central Group 3 High School Sectional Championship.
