2010 Season: Did not see game action as a true freshman...sat out redshirt season to retain freshman eligibility.
High School: Four-sport athlete at the Tatnall School where he competed in lacrosse, basketball, football, and soccer...played four years each in basketball and lacrosse, two years in football, and two years in soccer...led 2006 basketball team to the state championship...earned All-State honors twice in lacrosse and was named All-American in 2009....lacrosse coach was former UD standout Pete Duncan, basketball coach was former Delaware all-conference forward Anthony Wright, and football coach was former Blue Hen tight end Jody Russell.
Personal: Joseph Luciano "Joey" Fragomele ("fraga-melli")...born Sept. 16, 1990...son of Joe and Gigi Fragomele...undecided on major at Delaware...aspires to be a small business owner after graduation...works for father's construction company and as a valet during the summers...enjoys playing basketball and golf in his spare time...avid Philadelphia sports fan....has three sisters, including his twin, Gia...father is a University of Delaware graduate....uncle, Mike Purzycki, was a standout wide receiver for the Blue Hen football team in the 1960's...cousins, Mick Purzycki and Ted Shea, also recently completed their UD football careers.
