At Delaware: Fifth-year member of the team as a senior...one of 14 seniors on the squad...three-year letterwinner...valuable member of the team as a backup defenseman and longstick midfielder...has appeared in 25 career games and registered two assists, 20 groundballs, and two caused turnovers.

2010 Season: Saw action in eight games as a longstick midfielder...registered only point of the season with an assist vs. Vermont...collected eight groundballs and caused two turnovers...picked up a career-high three groundballs vs. Villanova...missed the final five games of the season.

2009 Season: Made big improvements and was a key member of the Blue Hen defensive unit as a longstick midfielder and on man-down defense...appeared in 14 games in a reserve role, missing only the season-opening win over Saint Joseph's...scored first career point vs. Robert Morris when he dished out an assist in the late-season victory...collected two groundballs each vs. Fairfield, Lehigh, and Brown...got a shot off vs. Brown.

2008 Season: Appeared in three games as a backup defensive player for the Blue Hens...saw action against Georgetown, Robert Morris and Sacred Heart and recorded one groundball on the season.

2007 Season: Saw action in one game as a backup defensive player for the Blue Hens...helped lead the team to the Colonial Athletic Association title and a berth in the NCAA Final Four....saw action vs. Manhattan but did not record a statistic...retained freshman eligibility.

High School: Played basketball and lacrosse at Walt Whitman High School...three-year letterwinner as a midfielder for head coach Frank Rossi in lacrosse...served as team captain as a senior...all-league pick as a senior...earned three letters as a point guard in basketball for head coach Tom Fitzpatrick...two-time team captain...earned all-league honors as a senior and academic all-league honors twice...National Honor Society student.

Personal: Dan Richard Mills...born Nov. 1, 1988...honor student as a finance major...younger brother, John, is a sophomore midfielder on this year's lacrosse team...father, Rich, is a physical education teacher who earned All-American honors twice as a player for the Blue Hens...Rich was a three-time All-East Coast Conference selection who led the Hens to two league titles and led the nation in assists (47) and points (75) in 1975...worked as a camp counselor and had an internship in New York city during the summer...hobbies include listening to music, fishing, and playing golf, basketball, and football.
