At Delaware: Second-year member of the squad • will battle with freshman Conor Peaks for the top backup spot behind starter Chris Herbert.

2012 Season: Earned letter in first season • appeared in seven games and started the final four games of the season in place of an injured Chris Herbert •  two-time Colonial Athletic Association Rookie of the Week (Mar. 5 and Apr. 16) • posted a 3-2 record • played 260 minutes, allowed 38 goals (8.80 gaa), and posted 56 saves (.596) • had 10 or more saves in each of his final four starts, including a season-high 14 in a win over Mercer • keyed early season win over Villanova when he took over for an injured Herbert and posted six saves and allowed just one goal in 20 minutes to earn the win • injured a shoulder in the Villanova win and missed nearly a month.

High School: Earned two All State honors in lacrosse and was a three-time All-State selection in ice hockey • led lacrosse team to state finals as a senior • honor roll student throughout high school career.

Personal: Brett Thomas “Chaz” Anton ("ann-tahn") • born Dec. 21, 1992 • son of Mark and Dianne Anton • mother in a 1982 Delaware graduate • has three siblings, Mark, Maddie, and Will • older brother, Mark, plays for Colonial Athletic Association foe Saint Joseph's •  attends Delaware because of the great coaching staff and campus environment • has not declared a major • works as a lacrosse coach during the summer.
