2011 Season: Appeared in the first five games for the Blue Hens before suffering a season-ending shoulder injury vs. Bellarmine • recorded three goals and three assists on the season • also recorded four groundballs • picked up two groundballs vs. Detroit • recorded two assists and one goal against Presbyterian • played a key leadership role from the sidelines as the Hens moved on to win the CAA Tournament title and advanced to the NCAA Tournament.
2010 Season: Played a key role as a second unit midfielder in leading Delaware to the Colonial Athletic Association title and a berth in the NCAA Tournament • played in all 17 games for the Blue Hens and recorded four goals and four assists while contributing 34 groundballs and three caused turnovers • scored two goals in CAA semifinal win over Drexel and also tallied against Georgetown and Villanova in consecutive games • dished out an assist in NCAA tournament game vs. North Carolina • had season-high four shots vs. Drexel • scooped up season-high four groundballs each vs. Georgetown, Villanova, Vermont, and both Towson games.
2009 Season: Played in all 15 games as a member of No. 2 midfield unit • ranked fourth among UD midfielders with five goals and six points • also scooped up 14 groundballs and caused three turnovers • scored first career goal in season-opener vs. Saint Joseph's and tallied a career-high two goals against No. 11 Georgetown • also scored goals against Fairfield and Brown.
2008 Season: One of team's top freshmen • saw action in 14 games, missing the first two games of the season due to injuries • did not score but contributed two assists and had five shots on goal • scooped up 18 groundballs and had one caused turnovers • third on team in faceoffs won (35 of 67 attempts) but tied for team lead in winning pct. with Anthony Ruiz (.522) • scored first career points vs. Robert Morris when he dished out two assists in late season victory.
High School: Standout in lacrosse and basketball at Corning East High School • three-year starter in lacrosse as a midfielder and faceoff specialist for head coach Bob Strecten • three-year starter who played in the Empire State Game for two years • earned All-American honors as a senior when he also earned all-county honors and led the section in scoring • team MVP as a senior • led team to New York State C championship game as a junior • three-year starter in basketball as a shooting guard for head coach Bill Hopkins • high honor roll student all four years.
Personal: Carter David Bloor • born Sept. 1, 1988 • son of Scott and Hilary Bloor • honor student as a marketing major at Delaware • team's Lowe's Senior Class Award for seniors who excel in the field, in the classroom, and in the community • three-time member of Colonial Athletic Association Academic Honor Roll • older brother, Taylor, was a standout defender for the Delaware and earned All-CAA honors in 2005 and 2006 • both parents are graduates of St. Lawrence (N.Y.) College • hobbies include fishing and playing basketball, golf and video games • has worked as a camp counselor during the summers.
