At Delaware: Third-year member of the squad as a sophomore • skilled player who is expected to begin season on second midfield unit with freshmen Chris Colaneri and Connor Frisina.
2012 Season: Played in all 15 games and started five on the first midfield unit as a redshirt freshman • recorded six goals, including four man-up scores, and two assists on 28 shots • also scooped up 11 groundballs • scored a goal in collegiate debut vs. Detroit and also added scores against Loyola, Johns Hopkins, Saint Joseph's, and Penn State • had season-high three groundballs each vs. Mt. St.Mary's and Massachusetts.
2011 Season: Did not see game action and retained freshman eligibility • team captured the Colonial Athletic Association Tournament title and advanced to the NCAA Tournament.
High School: Three-sport athlete in lacrosse, water polo, and swimming while at Calvert Hall High School • two-year starter in lacrosse for head coach Brian Kelly • led lacrosse squad to 13-3 record as a junior • water polo squad went undefeated at 13-0 and captured the league championship as a freshman.
Personal: Thomas Rockwell "Tommy" Holland • born Sept. 25, 1992 • son of Tom and Donna Holland • landscape horticulture major at Delaware • has a sister Sarah • enjoys listening to music in his spare time • father served as his coach for much of his youth career • father is a graduate of Florida and mother earned her degree from Delaware's CAA rival Towson.
