Delaware Men’s Lacrosse Challenge Set for Nov. 6
Delaware Challenge Tournament Information
NEWARK, Del. -- The University of Delaware will be holding the 2011 Delaware Challenge Boy’s Lacrosse Tournament with options for teams or individuals to play Sunday, November 6 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the University of Delaware Athletic Complex.
Players who are interested in competing as individuals or as a member of your club or high school team may sign up. Registration is $65.
The games will be regulation 10 vs. 10 played by high school federation rules. Teams will be placed in Divisions. Teams are guaranteed three games and a winner will be declared for each division. No overall tournament winner will be declared – only divisional winners. Each game will be 50 minutes in length. Personal information will be available to all college coaches in attendance.
Players can sign up as individuals to be placed on an independent team, or sign up on line and list if they are playing on their high school team or club team. For those groups attending as a team it is recommended to have 18-20 players. All participants will have a short instructional clinic prior to the first games per NCAA rules.
Registration Information
Registrations are being accepted online now through November 3, 2011. Individuals can sign up to be placed on independent teams or sign up and list the high school or club teams they are playing for on November 6.

Check-in will begin at 8 a.m. at the Delaware Field House. The first round of games will begin at 9 a.m.
