University of Delaware Men's and Women's Lacrosse Programs Recognizing March as Heroes Month

NEWARK, Del. -- The University of Delaware has announced that the men's and women's lacrosse teams will recognize March as Heroes Month, with special ticket prices to home games for veterans and military and emergency personnel.
Veterans and those serving in the military, police officers, fire fighters and emergency personnel are invited to purchase discounted $3 tickets by showing their official work identification card. They can purchase a maximum of four tickets.
Discounted tickets will be available for purchase at the Delaware Stadium box office on game days only.
There will be a Heroes Month doubleheader on Saturday, March 3, at Delaware Stadium. The UD men's team will face Villanova University at 12 noon while the women's team will face La Salle University at 3 p.m.
The women's team will play at 4 p.m., Wednesday, March 7, and there will be a second doubleheader on Saturday, March 10, with the women's team facing Penn State University at noon and the men's team taking on Stony Brook at 3 p.m.
The final Heroes Month game will see the UD men's team taking on Drexel University at 7 p.m., Saturday, March 31.
