At Delaware: Third year member of the men's track & field team 2009 Season: Did not compete and redshirted. 2010 Season: Threw the discus for the Blue Hens, recording a sixth place throw at the CAA Championships - had a season-best discus throw of 149'6” at West Chester II – threw the hammer 144'0” also at West Chester.
High School: Was a three-sport athlete at St. Mark's HS in Wilmington, De – lettered in wrestling, tennis and track & field – placed second in the state of Delaware for his weight class in wrestling during his senior year – began track as a senior by throwing shotput and discus – placed fourth in both events in division I track for Delaware high schools – was editor of the yearbook – member of the student council – acted as the school mascot
Personal: Ryan Everett Beach – son of Kenneth and Cynthia Beach – born April 9, 1990 – economics and political science major at Delaware with a minor in history – plans to become a politician – chose to play sports at Delaware because he wanted to win a championship – father, Kenneth, graduated from Delaware in 1981 – has an older sister
