At Delaware: Fourth-year player who will once again start on the Blue Hen defense.
2010 Season: Only player to start all 18 games • took seven shots, including two against No. 12 William & Mary (Nov. 12) in the Hens’ first-ever CAA tournament game • took at least one shot in three straight games; Navy (Sept. 15), Saint Peter’s (Sept. 21) and Georgia State (Sept. 25) • was a key part of a defensive unit that shutout six opponents, including three straight to end the regular season.
2009 Season: Played in 16 of the Blue Hens contests • started 12 contests • named to Colonial Athletic Association Academic Honor Roll.
2008 Season: Appeared in eight games on the Blue Hen backline • part of a defense that shut out VCU (Nov. 1) and held six different opponents to just one goal • recorded one shot on the season.
High School: Played four years at Marlboro High School • helped team to state finals as a freshman • served as team captain his junior and senior years • second team All A-North and third team All-Shore selection.
Personal: Michael Stone • son of David and Ileen Stone • has two sisters: Ashley and Mallory; and three brothers: Justin, Sean, and Brian • Justin plays soccer at Ramapo • has played soccer since age seven • managment information systems major at Delaware.
