The 200 and 800-yard freestyle relay teams also made the “B” cut for the NCAA National Championships, but were not selected to compete in the national tournament.

It is the second straight year the Princetion University women’s swimming and diving team, champions of the Ivy League, have been crowned the CollegeSwimming.com Mid-Major Dual Meet Champions. On the men’s side, the United State Naval Academy, winners of the Patriot League, claimes their third title since the 2008-09 season. Princeton’s men’s team finished second behind the Midshipmen.

The Mid-Major rankings use an objective point system to compare teams' relative strength in a traditional dual meet lineup as submitted by participating teams. The ranking is available to those institutions that a) are not members of a BCS conference or Mountain West Conference, or b) provide less than one-half of the allowable scholarships under the NCAA rules. Teams must have submitted entries in at least two polling periods to be eligible for the final ranking.
