NEWARK, Del. -- Assistant coach of the University of Delaware men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams Rory Coleman is hosting youth swimming lessons through the end of October.
Starting this Sunday, September 25, and continuing every Sunday through October 30, swimming lessons will take part at Rawstrom Natatorium in the Carpenter Sports Building. There are two time slots available for swim lessons, starting at 5 and 6 p.m., each lasting approximately 45 minutes.
Every level of swimmer is encouraged to sign up to receive swim lessons. Whether the swimmer has had no previous lessons and is not comfortable in the water or if the swimmer is experienced but is looking to learn new strokes and a better technique, all swimmers are welcome.
There will also be an introduction to campers interested in competitive diving. Learn the basics of competitive diving and the techniques of basic dives off a diving board.
Registration is $85 per child and can be turned in at the Carpenter Sports Building at the Cashiers Office.
All interested swimmers must be at least three years of age and no older than eighth grade.
For more information or any other questions, please contact Rory Coleman in the Carpenter Sports Building or at 302-831-0207.
