Chucta, Coonce Lead University of Delaware Performers at Delaware Diving Invitational

NEWARK, Del. -- Heather Chucta and Brian Coonce (at right) were the top finishers for the University of Delaware as the Blue Hens hosted the three-team Delaware Diving Invitational Saturday at the Rawstrom Natatorium.
Delaware’s Chucta placed seventh in the one-meter diving event with a score of 235.00 points and was eighth in the three-meter event (235.10) on the women’s side while Coonce finished third in both events in the men’s division, posting 291.80 points on the one-meter and 299.50 points on the three-meter board.
Also for the Delaware women, Schaefer Andrews finished ninth in both the one-meter (226.05) and three-meter (206.35) events.
Also for the Delaware men, Seth Bergman was fourth on both the one-meter (287.25) and three-meter (287.25) boards while Nicholas Hoffman was sixth in the three-meter (257.75) and eighth in the one-meter (226.90) and John Gravatt was eighth in the three-meter (204.20) and ninth in the one-meter (223.03) event.
Towson’s Caroline Baker dominated the women’ competition as she won both the one-meter and three-meter events while Ryan Kuser of West Chester University captured both events on the men’s side.
