2009-10 Season: CollegeSwimming.com honorable mention Mid-Major All-American • NCAA B Standard qualifier in the 100 breaststroke, 200 medley relay, and 400 medley relay • placed in the top three in four events at the CAA championships • captured the 200 medley relay (1:28.88), was second in the 400 medley relay (3:16.62), and third in the 100 breaststroke (school record 53.75) and 200 breaststroke (2:03.91) • team's top breastroke swimmer, posting top times in the 100 and 200 breaststroke • also swam the 100 butterfly with a season best ninth place finish at Loyola in 53:53.
2008-09 Season: Posted the top time on the team in the 100-breaststroke with a 57.09 clocking during the CAA Championships • also ranked third on the squad in the 20 breaststroke with a time of 2:08.01 • swam the third leg on the program’s record-breaking 200 medley relay team • also competed in the 100 butterfly and 200 IM.
2007-08 Season: Swam the second leg on the team’s fastest 200 medley relay team • the foursome finished fourth at the CAA meet with a time of 1:32.39 • swam the second-best 100 breastroke on the team after finishing in 58.61 at the CAA • posted the third-fastest time in the 200 yard event • also competed in the 100 butterfly during the conference championships.
High School: Finished sixth in the state championships as a junior and fifth as a senior in the 100 breaststroke for Perkiomen Valley High School • was a bronze medalist in the 100 breaststoke at the PIAA District 1 meet • also played water polo at Perkiomen Valley.
Personal: Ross Clinton Buckwalter • son of Clinton and Lydia Buckwalter • has a sister, Kathryn, who was a diver at Delaware • mechanical engineering major at Delaware.
