UD All-Time Top-10 Lists: 200-butterfly (4th, 1:53.91), 400-IM (3rd, 4:07.49). 2009-10 Season: Recorded the top 400 IM time on the team • finished 10th at the CAA Championships with a 4:07.49 time • also posted the team's top time in the 1,650 freestyle with a 14th place finish at the CAA's with a time of 16:22.76 • was the third fastes swimmer on the team in the 200 butterfly, posting a 16th place finish at the CAA's with a 1:53.91 time • also competed in the 100, 200, 500 and 1000 freestyle events, as well as the 100 butterfly and the 200 IM for the Blue Hens.
High School: Standout member of the Leesville Road High School swim team • received four letters with the Pride • competed in the 100-butterfly, 200-individual medley, and 500-freestyle • earned All-Conference, All-Region, and All-State honors • was a three-time Academic All-American selection.
Personal: Michael Victor Garbarino • son of Tom and Karen Garbarino • has two sisters, Krysta and Alexa • majoring in mechanical engineering at Delaware • plans to work with the family business, BFS Industries, after graduation.
