2009-10 Season: Posted a victory at Widener in the 500 freestyle in the team's fifth fastest time of the season with 4:48.99 • also posted a first place finish in the 1,000 freestyle at Widener in 9:51.54, the third fastest time in on the team • also competed in the 50 freestyle, 100 and 200 breaststroke for the Blue Hens.
High School: Four-year letterwinner as a member of the swim team at Freedom High School • excellent competitor in the 200- and 500-freestyles • garnered first-team All-Area honors in both events as a junior and senior • also competed in the butterfly and breaststroke • was a member of the Freedom tennis team in 2008 as well.
Personal: Jacob Charles Magnan • son of Mike and Pam Magnan • has two siblings, Molly and Sam • mother was a graduate of the University of Delaware • member of the National Honor Society • majoring in exercise science with plans to work as a physical therapist.
