At Delaware:
2010-11 Season: Started the season off with a second and third place showing against Georgetown, one of two double podium performances on the year • finished second in the 3-meter dive with 181.50 points and third in the 1-meter event with 171.45 points in the season opener • set a season high from the 3-meter board at Towson with 245.55 points, good enough for second place • posted a fifth place finish at the Delaware Invitational from the 1-meter board with a season's best 251.05 points • took third place at Towson in the 1-meter event with 246.45 points • finished 15th in the 3-meter event and 16th from the 1-meter board at the CAA Championships.
High School: Four-year letterwinner at Urbana High School • placed third in the conference as a junior and senior • placed third in sectionals as a junior and senior • totaled nine letters in high school (also played baseball and football).
Personal: Nicholas Payne "Nick" Hoffman • son of Gene and Theresa Hoffman • has a younger brother, Cole • started diving as a freshman in high school • was a lifeguard at the Urbana Contry Club pool over the summer • exercise science major at Delaware with dreams of becoming a physical therapist.
