2010-11 Season: Did not compete. 2009-10 Season: Posted a victory at Widener in the 500 freestyle in the team's fifth fastest time of the season with 4:48.99 • also posted a first place finish in the 1,000 freestyle at Widener in 9:51.54, the third fastest time in on the team • also competed in the 50 freestyle, 100 and 200 breaststroke for the Blue Hens.
High School: Four-year letterwinner as a member of the swim team at Freedom High School • excellent competitor in the 200- and 500-freestyles • garnered first-team all-area honors in both events as a junior and senior • also competed in the butterfly and breaststroke • was a member of the Freedom tennis team in 2008 as well.
Personal: Jacob "Jake" Charles Magnan ("mag-nin") • son of Mike and Pam Magnan • has two siblings, Molly and Sam • mother is a graduate of the University of Delaware • member of the National Honor Society • majoring in exercise science with a minor in nutrition at Delaware • is an Eagle Scout and earned National Medal of Merit.
