2010-11 Season: Finished with four second place showings along with two third place marks • picked up four second place finishes in the 200-yard breaststroke event, including meets against Georgetown, George Mason, La Salle and Rider, and Towson • posted fastest 200 breast time against UMBC and William & Mary, coming in fourth in a time of 2:10.46 • finished third against Drexel in the 100-yard breaststroke for best showing, but had best time in 100 breast against La Salle and Rider, coming in fourth in 1:00.73 • placed 31st at the Frank Elm Invitational at Rutgers in the 400 IM in 4:27.46 • finished with a season's best time of 2:03.96 in the 200 IM at the Frank Elm Invitational.
High School: Swam for F.D.R High School from seventh to 10th grade • finished high school swim career at Marist Swim Club from 2006-10 • school record holder in the breaststroke • NCSA Junior National Qualifier in the 100 and 200 breaststroke • USA Swimming Scholastic All-American • attended the National Young Leaders Conference • member of the IBM Project LEAD • Natonal Honor roll and school Honor Roll member • National Honor Society.
Personal: Michael "Mike" David Meck • son of David and Dale Meck • has a younger brother, Matt • must have coconut water before each meet • lived in France for two years • mechanical engineering major with minors in math, biomedical engineering, and sustainable energy technology at Delaware.
