High School: Four-year letterwinner on the Lower Merion High School tennis squad • high school teammate of current Blue Hen Courtney Scott • helped his team to back-to-back state championships in 2006 and 2007 • advanced to the state finals in 2008 • won four district titles, three team, and one doubles title with Scott • served as varsity tennis captain junior and senior years • also a three-year letterwinner on the golf team • graduated with distinguished honors and was a member of the National Honor Society.
Personal: Robert Max Kay • son of Stephen Kay and Rhonda Karp • has four older siblings, David, Mira, Brielle and Rebecca • business major • works as a tennis coach throughout the summer • started playing tennis at age of three • credits his father as the biggest influence on his tennis career.
