At Delaware: Three-year letterwinner • expected to return to a top-six singles and pair for a top-three doubles spot for the Blue Hens • owns a three-year singles record of 20-9 with a double mark of 12-8.

2009-10 Season: Tallied a singles record of 6-4 at No. 3-No. 6 action as a junior • teamed with five different partners to go 5-6 in doubles action • served as the UD Student-Athlete Advisory Council secretary.

2008-09: Went 13-5 in singles play, 6-1 at No. 4 and 7-4 at No. 6 singles as a sophomore • tallied a 7-2 record in doubles teaming with Camilo Perez and Chris Hincker • Swathmore Invitational Flight A doubles champion • Old Dominion Tournament Flight D-1 champion.

2007-08: Won the first match of his career at the No. 6 spot as a freshman.

High School: Four-year letterwinner at Richard Montgomery High School • played No. 1 singles as a junior and senior and No. 2 singles as a sophomore • team Most Valuable Player in both 2006 and 2007 • honor roll student.

Personal: Nicholas Paul "Nick" Piacente ("pee-uh-sen-tay") • son of Steve and Felicia Piacente • has two sisters, Danielle and Ali • both sisters played college tennis with Danielle playing at Maryland and Ali competing at UNC-Charlotte • honor student as a mechanical engineering major at Delaware with a mathematics minor • spent his summer interning at the U.S. General Services Administration • enjoys biking, snowboarding, and playing the guitar • cites father as biggest influence on tennis career • will serve as Vice-President of the UD Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) as a senior and serves as team representative to SAAC along with teammate Chris Hincker.
