At Delaware: Second in school record books with 57 doubles wins (57-24 overall) behind former teammate Andre Vorobyov’s 59 victories (2008-12) • sixth in Delaware history with 52 singles victories (52-29 overall) • holds school record for most doubles wins in a season (23, 2012-13) • tied for first with 41 career doubles team victories with partner Adam Lawton • All-CAA 2nd Team Singles honoree • two-time 3rd team All-CAA Singles awardee • three-time 3rd team All-CAA Doubles honoree • three-time letterwinner.

2012-13 Season: Teamed up with fellow junior Adam Lawton to collect a school-record 23 doubles wins; finished season 23-8 in No. 1 spot • wrapped up year with a singles mark of 21-10, good for second on the team • led Blue Hens with a 19-8 record in No. 1 singles • Navy Invitational Flight 1 Singles and Doubles Champion • Saint Joseph’s Tournament Flight 1 Doubles Champion • ITA Regional Participant (singles/doubles) • CAA Singles Player of the Week (March 26) • CAA Doubles Player of the Week (Feb. 27) along with Lawton • picked up second team All-CAA honors for first time in career • earned third team All-CAA doubles honors for third straight season.

2011-12 Season: Earned 34 combined wins in doubles and singles play to improve to 65-36 (.644) in two-year career • finished second on the team with 16 wins in singles action • recorded season-long six-game winning streak in addition to a four-game winning streak • Saint Joseph’s University Invitational Singles Flight 1 Finalist • paired with sophomore Adam Lawton to lead Blue Hens with a 13-6 doubles record in the No. 1 position • duo finished with a 17-8 overall season record • collected team-high four-game doubles winning streak with Lawton • earned third team All-CAA singles and doubles honors for second straight year • ITA Regionals Competitor (Doubles/Round of 32) with Lawton.

2010-11 Season: Combined to win 31 matches between doubles and singles play • posted a team-high singles record of 15-7 • went 13-4 in No. 2 singles action • paired with Andre Vorobyov to go 15-7 in doubles play • pair posted a 7-1 mark in No. 2 doubles matches • named third team All Colonial Athletic Association for singles as well as doubles • earned CAA Singles Player of the Week honors on Apr. 13 • awarded Alexander J. Taylor UD Alumni Association Team Most Valuable Player plaudits. 

High School: Enjoyed one of the finest careers of any tennis player in Delaware history • played four years of tennis at Wilmington Friends School • played No. 1 singles all four years • three-time individual state champion • team won state title twice • graduated with an individual record of 69-1 • team went undefeated (13-0) in 2007 • also played one year of basketball. 

Personal: Troy Michael Beneck ("ben-ick") • son of Steve and Diane Beneck • both parents are University of Delaware alumni • father was a quarterback on the football team from 1976-77 at Delaware • once hit a shot between his legs • leaves his shoes untied as a pre-game superstition • has two younger brothers • honor student as a exercise science major at Delaware • enjoys playing the guitar.
