High School: Pennsylvania State AAA tennis singles champion (2011) with four commanding straight set victories • led Unionville High School to a team silver-medal finish at the AAA State Championship as a junior • finished first in the Ches-Mont League in singles play as a sophomore (undefeated) and junior and second in the league his freshman and senior years • despite playing with an injury, placed four in the state singles in 2012 • ranked in the Top 10 in every age group for his section • played for Sharon Largent and Robert Nirth • member of the National Honors Society, Spanish Honors Society and B+ Club.

Furr, Jr. and Heidi Furr • has an older brother, Robert, who was a member of the Blue Hen rowing team • majoring in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in biomed at UD with the goal of becoming a biomechanical engineer • favorite sports teams are the Philadelphia Phillies and Washington Redskins • enjoys running • has aspirations of participating in Engineers Without Borders.
