2012-13 Season:  Collected season singles record of 13-13 while going 4-1 in the No. 2 spot • posted season-best seven game winning streak • teamed up with Evan Andrews to go 10-10 in doubles play with an 8-7 mark in the No. 2 flight • also recorded a mark of 4-3 in doubles action with Jason Derene • duo went 2-1 in No. 1 doubles • Saint Joseph’s Tournament Flight 2 Singles Champion • Navy Invitational Flight 3 Singles Champion • Navy Invitational Flight 2 Doubles Champion.

2011-12 Season:  Posted a 12-9 singles record in his first season with the Blue Hens • played majority of season in the No. 4 slot, recording a 8-8 mark • tallied an overall mark of 13-9 in doubles play • went 3-0 in the No. 3 doubles spot with Jason Derene and 7-5 in the No. 3 spot with Evan Andrews • collected a season-high three-game winning streak with Andrews.

2010-11 Season:  Did not compete at UD due to NCAA transfer regulations.

2009-10 Season (At Bryant University): Went 14-4 in singles as a Bulldog, including a 6-0 mark in the Northeast Conference • posted a 7-1 record in No. 5 singles, capping the year with a 6-0 streak and going 11-1 in his last 12 matches • went 7-10 in doubles • named First Team All-NEC at fifth flight • named First Team All-NEC No. 1 Doubles • also a kicker on Bryant’s football team.

High School:  A standout player at Half Hollow Hills High School for Kim Langendorfer • Posted a 20-6 record overall in last season and is currently the 20th-ranked player in New York and ranked 33rd in the Mid-Atlantic region • Named All-State in Tennis from 2007-10 • Achieved all-state honors in soccer for the Colts • Also a member of the basketball team for three seasons as a two-year letter winner • served as football team’s kicker, helping the team to the Long Island Championship in 2010 while earning three letters • All-State soccer player  • named Suffolk County MVP, League 4 MVP in 2010 • four year soccer letter winner • four-time honor roll member from 2007-10 • member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Nolan Yale Gelman • born January 3, 1992 • son of Rick and Lynn Gelman • has two older brothers, Bryan and Preston • chose Delaware for the good fit academically and athletically • began playing tennis at the age of five • lists brothers as biggest influences because they taught him to be tough both physically and mentally • business major at the University • served as an intern in the treasury department at Broadridge, a provider of investor communications and technology.
