Blue Hen Men’s Tennis to Host Off-Campus Match at the Elkton Indoor Courts

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware men’s tennis team is proud to announce that their upcoming home contest will be played off-campus this Saturday at the Elkton Indoor Courts.
The Blue Hens will take on St. Joseph’s (1-2) at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Elkton Indoor Courts, located at 360 Maloney Road, Elkton, Md., which is just 15 minutes from the UD campus.
Last season, the Hens defeated the Hawks, 5-2, at the Elkton Indoor Courts for their second consecutive win of the season. Delaware picked up four victories in singles and two in doubles in the win.
Delaware is currently 1-1 on the spring season and is led by junior Troy Beneck (at right), who is 2-0 in the top singles spot, and the doubles team of Beneck and fellow junior Adam Lawton. The duo have posted a 2-0 record in the top doubles flight.
The match is free and open to the public.
