At Delaware: Third-year member of the squad • one of 11 seniors on the squad • member of Varsity Eights crew in the fall • has competed in 13 career events.

2011 Season: Competed in all seven events as a member of the Second Varsity Eights • placed third at the Colonial Athletic Association Championships with the Second Varsity Eights • placed third at the ECAC Championships • finished fourth at Dad Vail • finished third at the Murphy Cup, second at Knecht Cup and second at St. Joseph’s dual.

2010 Season: Competed in all six events with the Hens • competed in five events with the Novice Eights and one with the Varsity Fours • finished second at the Colonial Athletic Association Championships with the Varsity Fours and had a second place finish at the ECAC Championships with the Novice Eights crew • led the Novice Eights to a win at the Saint Joseph's/Drexel tri-meet.

High School/Club: Competed in soccer and basketball at Sussex Tech High School • played defense in socer and forward in basketball • earned four varsity letters in soccer • two-time all-conference and team Most Valuable Player • two-year captain • named team's Outstanding Senior • earned three letters in basketball • earned All-Henlopen Conference honors as a senior • team captain as a senior • played trombone in the marching band • National Honor Society.

Personal: Bethany L. Callaway • born June 22, 1990 • daughter of Eric Callaway and Lynn Hale • has an older brother and a twin brother • nursing major at Delaware with a minor in theatre.
