At Delaware: Second-year member of the Blue Hens who has earned one letter.

2012 Season: 
Competed in all seven events for Delaware • member of the Novice Fours boat that finished fifth at the CAA Championships • competed with the Novice Eights during the other six meets • Novice Eights crew was named National 5 & 10 Best of the Blue Hens Athlete of the Week on April 2 after its second place finish at the Occoquan Sprints.

High School:
Participated on the field hockey, lacrosse, volleyball, and rowing teams at The Shipley School • varsity letterwinner for field hockey and rowing • led team to first place at Head of Christiana Regatta in 2010 • finished first at Kings Head in 2009 • senior captain of rowing team • semi-finalist at Stotesbury Cup and Nationals during her senior year • four-year competitor at Philadelphia Flower Show and won multiple ribbons • Ronald McDonald House and Cradles to Crayons volunteer.

Personal:
Yardley Baron Markee • born October 7, 1992 • daughter of James and Alix Markee • mother played field hockey and lacrosse at Kenyon College • has a sister • pursuing a degree in elementary education at Delaware and hopes to become a special education teacher • started rowing during her sophomore year of high school • enjoys cooking, baking, and gardening.
