2012 Season: Appeared in all seven meets for the Blue Hens • competed with the Varsity Fours boat at the Saint Joseph’s Quad Meet and the Murphy Cup • member of the Second Varsity Eights at the Occoquan Sprints, Knecht Cup, CAA Championships and Dad Vail Regatta.
2011 Season: Competed in six events as a member of the Novice Eights crew • placed first at the ECAC Championships • finished fourth in the semifinals with the Novice Eights at Dad Vail • placed third at the St. Joseph's dual • crew was named National 5 & 10 Best of the Blue Hens Athlete of the Week on May 2.
High School/Club: Competed for two years for the crew team at Mainland High School • placed first at cities, first at counties, second at states, and second at the Stotesbury Cup Regatta as a senior • placed first at the SRAA National race in 2008 as part of the Second Varsity Eights • placed fourth at both the State and National races in 2009 • awarded the team's Most Athletic Contribution Award in 2009 • earned the Captain's Award in 2010 • member of the National Honor Society • also served as a peer mentor.
Personal: Sarah Gloria Slotoroff ("slo-to-roff") • born August 11, 1992 • daughter of David Slotoroff and Barbara Young • university studies major at Delaware • lists her high school coach as her biggest influence • has a younger brother • worked as a camp counselor during the summer.
