At Highland Community College: First team All-Kansas Jayhawk Conference and All-Region selection in 2011 • named second team NJCAA Division II All-American • led team to a 38-14 record, the Region VI District I title, and a berth in the Division II National Championship Tournament • posted an 18-3 record with team-highs of 220 strikeouts, 159.2 innings pitched and a 1.10 ERA • second team All-Jayhawk Conference and honorable mention All-Region selection in 2010 • went 13-3 with a 1.12 ERA as a freshman • named NFCA Academic All-American in 2009 and NJCAA Academic All-American in 2010 • Dean’s Honor List and President’s Honor List student.
High School: Attended high school affiliated to BIT • led squad to the Beijing High School Softball Championship.
Personal: Chenxi Jiao ("chen-see tch-ow") • daughter of Jing Chen and Xiaojun Jiao • history major at Delaware • worked with the China Softball Association and practiced with the national team over the summer.
