2012 Season: Appeared in 51 games while making 46 starts, all but one behind the plate • earned the Team Defensive MVP award • recorded five hits and two runs scored on the year • posted first career hit against Binghamton (2/17) • had a single in three consecutive games against La Salle, Norfolk State and Western Michigan • also recorded a single against George Mason (4/1) • threw out 10 runners attempting to steal.
High School: Four-year starter on the softball team as a catcher and shortstop at Walter Panas High School • three-time All-League selection • All-Section I pick and fourth team All-State honoree as a senior • earned New York State Officials Sportsmanship Award during senior year • NYS Scholar Athlete all four years • two-year captain • led Walter Panas to the Section I Class A tournament during her final two seasons • member of National Honor Society and National Spanish Honor Society • earned Pablo Neruda Award and Underclassmen Math, Spanish and English awards • given Superintendent’s Award for Outstanding Co-Curricular Achievement.
