Registration Now Available For University of Delaware Softball Winter Clinics To Be Held On January 9

NEWARK, Del. -- Registration is now available for University of Delaware softball winter clinics that will be held on Sunday, January 9 at the Delaware Field House.
The clinics will be run by first-year Blue Hen head coach Jaime Wohlbach, along with UD assistant/pitching coach Michele Hawkins and UD graduate assistant Courtney Christie.
The clinics will include an All Skills Defensive Clinic from 10 a.m.-1 p.m., a Specialized Catching Clinic from 2-5 p.m., and a Specialized Pitching Clinic from 5-8 p.m. The clinics, available for girls 8-18 years of age, will all take place at the Delaware Field House on South College Avenue.
Each clinic costs $75 per session and $125 for any two sessions for athletes. Cost is $45 for the day for attending coaches.
Catchers should bring their own gear, while pitchers need to provide their own catchers for the clinic.
Wohlbach begins her first season leading the Blue Hens this spring after arriving in Newark prior to three seasons at Iona College. Last year she was named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Coach of the Year after leading the Gaels to the MAAC Championship. She was an international player and coach in over 15 countries, and was a WPSL and NPF professional player.
