Registration Now Available For University of Delaware Softball Winter Clinics To Be Held On December 18

UD Winter Softball Clinic Registration Form
NEWARK, Del. –Registration is now available for University of Delaware softball winter clinics that will be held on Sunday, December 18 at the Delaware Field House.
The clinics will be run by second-year Blue Hen head coach Jaime Wohlbach, along with Delaware assistants Michele Hawkins and Tenaya Tucker.
An All-Skills Defense Clinic for girls ages 8-13 will be held from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., while the same clinic for girls ages 14-18 will be held from 2-5 p.m. A Specialized Catching Clinic will be held from 5-8 p.m. for girls ages 8-18.
Each clinic costs $75 per session and $125 for any two sessions for athletes. Cost is $45 for the day for attending coaches.
Catchers should bring their own gear, while all participants should bring their own glove and sneakers for indoor training.
Wohlbach was the 2010 MAAC Coach of the Year at Iona who led the Blue Hens to a CAA Tournament berth last year during her first season in Newark. She was an international player and coach in over 15 countries, and was a WPSL and NPF professional player. Hawkins was also an international player and coach, and was a Big Ten and pro league standout pitcher. Tucker was named the Charlotte 49ers 2011 MVP last year when she was a first team All-Atlantic 10 and All-Region selection.
