Blue Hen Head Coach Jaime Wohlbach Named To NCAA Softball Rules Committee

NEWARK, Del. –University of Delaware softball second-year head coach Jaime Wohlbach has been appointed to the NCAA Softball Rules Committee, a post she will hold for the next two years.
Wohlbach is one of nine members on the committee and is one of just three Division I head coaches, along with Veronica Wiggins of Florida A&M and Chris Kuhlmeyer of Belmont. Other committee members include Ohio State Associate Athletic Director Heather Lyke Catalano as well as coaches Susan Cassidy Lyke (Molloy College), Patti Gerckens (UC San Diego), Ruth Kmak (University of Chicago), and Vickie Van Kleeck (Ferrum College).
Wohlbach’s appointment began in July, and is effective through September 1, 2013.
Wohlbach completed her first season at the helm of the Blue Hens this spring, guiding the squad to a 21-34 overall record and a berth in the Colonial Athletic Association Tournament.
