University of Delaware Softball Announces 2012 Fall Schedule

2012 UD Softball Fall Schedule
NEWARK, Del. -- The University of Delaware softball team play eight games during its 2012 fall exhibition schedule, third-year Blue Hen head coach Jaime Wohlbach has announced.
Delaware will open its fall slate on Sunday, Sept. 23 with a 12 noon doubleheader at Lehigh University. The following Sunday, Sept. 30, the Blue Hens will take on Caldwell College at 10:15 a.m. and Syracuse University at 12:15 p.m. at Branch Brook Park in Newark, N.J.
UD travels to Princeton University on Sunday, Oct. 7 for a 12 noon doubleheader with the Tigers, before wrapping up its fall schedule on Sunday, Oct. 14 with a 2 p.m. twinbill at the University of Virginia.
Delaware, which has qualified for the Colonial Athletic Association Tournament during each of Wohlbach’s first two seasons in Newark, went 15-41-1 this past year, including an 8-12 mark in conference play.
