Registration Now Available For University of Delaware Softball Winter Two-Day Skills Camps on December 29-30

NEWARK, Del. -- Registration is now available for four University of Delaware softball winter camps that will be held on December 29 and 30 in the Delaware Field House.
The clinics will be run by third-year Blue Hen head coach Jaime Wohlbach, along with Delaware assistant coaches Lauren Cognigni, Tenaya Tucker and John Seneca.
On Saturday, December 29 an Offense Only Clinic will be available for players ages 8-13 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., while a second Offense Only Clinic will be held from 2 until 6 p.m. that day for players ages 14-18.
A Specialized Catching Clinic will be held for players ages 14-18 on Sunday, December 30 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., while an All-Skills Defense Only Clinic for players ages 14-18 will be held from 2 until 6 p.m. that day.
The Offense Only Clinic for players ages 8-13 costs $75, while the three camps for players ages 14-18 cost $90 each. Players can register for two camps for $165, or for three camps for $185.
Participants should bring their own glove and equipment, as well as sneakers for indoor training. Catchers should bring their own gear.
Wohlbach was the 2010 MAAC Coach of the Year at Iona, and has guided the Blue Hens to the Colonial Athletic Association Tournament during each of her first two years in Newark. Cognigni, entering her second year at UD, was a four-year starter at Saint Joseph’s who is the Hawks’ career strikeouts leader while Tucker, also entering her second season, is the single-season home run record holder at Charlotte. Seneca is a certified NFCA and two star NFCC Master Coach.
