Registration Now Available For Four University of Delaware Softball Fall Clinics To Be Held Oct. 27-28

NEWARK, Del. -- Registration is now available for four University of Delaware softball fall clinics that will be held on October 27 and 28 at the Delaware Softball Stadium.
The clinics will be run by third-year Blue Hen head coach Jaime Wohlbach, along with Delaware assistant coaches Lauren Cognigni, Tenaya Tucker and John Seneca.
On Saturday, October 27 a Defensive Session will be available for players age 14-18 from 9:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. A Specialized Catching Clinic, also for players ages 14-18, will be held later than day from 2 until 5 p.m.
An Offensive Session will be held for players ages 14-18 on Sunday, October 28 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., while an All-Skills Defense and Offense Clinic for players ages 9-13 will be held from 2 until 5 p.m. that day.
Clinics for players ages 14-18 cost $75 per individual session, $125 for two sessions, and $140 for all three sessions. The All-Skills Defense and Offense Clinic for players ages 9-13 costs $55 per participant.
Participants should bring their own glove and equipment, while catchers should bring their own gear.
Wohlbach was the 2010 MAAC Coach of the Year at Iona, and has guided the Blue Hens to the Colonial Athletic Association Tournament during each of her first two years in Newark. Cognigni, entering her second year at UD, was a four-year starter at Saint Joseph’s who is the Hawks’ career strikeouts leader while Tucker, also entering her second season, is the single-season home run record holder at Charlotte. Seneca is a certified NFCA and two star NFCC Master Coach.
