University of Delaware Softball Assistant Coach Tenaya Tucker Named MVP While Leading Caserta To Italian League Title

CASERTA, Italy -- University of Delaware softball assistant coach Tenaya Tucker recently led DES Caserta to the Italian Serie A1 League Championship and was named Most Valuable Player of the postseason.
Caserta was the league’s regular season champion with a 30-4 record before winning the title for the fourth straight year. Tucker started at third base and catcher for Caserta, which is located near Naples and the island of Capri.
By winning the championship, Caserta has qualified for the Eurocup next year.
