Registration Now Available For University of Delaware Softball Winter Skills Camps on Feb. 2-3

University of Delaware Softball Winter Skills Camp Registration Form
NEWARK, Del. -- Registration is now available for three University of Delaware softball winter skills camps that will be held on February 2 and 3 in the Delaware Field House.
The clinics, which are available for players ages 14-18, will be run by third-year Blue Hen head coach Jaime Wohlbach, along with Delaware assistant coaches Lauren Cognigni, Tenaya Tucker and John Seneca.
On Saturday, February 2 a Catching Only Clinic will be held from 9 a.m. until 12 noon, while a Defense Only Clinic will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. On Sunday, February 3 an Offense Only Clinic will be held from 2 to 6 p.m.
The Offense and Defense Clinics cost $90 each, or $165 for both. The Catching Clinic costs $75, while all three sessions cost $200.
Participants should bring their own helmet and bat, as well as sneakers for indoor training. Catchers should bring their own catching gear.
Wohlbach was the 2010 MAAC Coach of the Year at Iona, and has guided the Blue Hens to the Colonial Athletic Association Tournament during each of her first two years in Newark. Cognigni, entering her second year at UD, was a four-year starter at Saint Joseph’s who is the Hawks’ career strikeouts leader while Tucker, also entering her second season, is the single-season home run record holder at Charlotte. Seneca is a certified NFCA and two star NFCC Master Coach.
