2011: Earned honorable mention American Volleyball Coaches Association All-East Region honors as a junior • first team All-Colonial Athletic Association selection after a dominating junior campaign for head coach Bonnie Kenny • led team to CAA regular season and tournament title and NCAA Tournament berth • one of seven members of the team to play all 125 matches in 34 games during the season • finished the year leading the team with 466.5 points (3.73 pts/set) • posted 10 15-plus and five 20-plus point games capped by a 28-point performance on Nov. 11 at James Madison • seventh in the CAA and second on the team with 382 kills (3.06) • had 20 double-digit and nine 15-plus kill games led by a 24-kill match on Nov. 11 at James Madison • second on the team with 32 service aces that included a five-ace match on Sept. 17 at Pittsburgh • third on the team with 93 total blocks (12 BS/81 BA)  with five five-plus block matches capped by a nine-block match in the CAA Tournament championship game vs. VCU on Nov. 20 • third on the squad with 384 digs (3.07 digs/set) • 20 double-digit and nine, 15-plus dig games with a 21 dig game on Nov. 11 at James Madison • named to three-straight All-Tournament teams (Delaware Invitational, Maryland, and Pittsburgh) which capped a CAA Defensive Player of the Week (Sept. 19) selection • set a new high with 24 kills on Nov. 11 at JMU en route to a CAA Offensive Player of the Week (Nov. 14) selection • named to the CAA All-Tournament Team after she posted 30 kills, 26 digs and 11 blocks during UD’s Tournament victories over JMU and VCU • named to CAA Academic Honor Roll.

2010: Named third team All-CAA team after finishing a strong sophomore season • led team to CAA title and NCAA Tournament berth • ranked second on the team with 369 kills, 76 blocks and 3.62 points per set • ranked seventh in the CAA in kills, and fifth in points per game in all games played • finished fourth in the CAA in points per set (3.83), sixth in kills (3.19), and ninth in hitting percentage (.271) in conference games only • earned National 5&10 Best of the Blue Hens Athlete of the Week honors on August 30 after being named to the Temple All-Tournament Team • racked up 29 kills, 26 digs and four block assists in the first week against La Salle, Temple and Virginia • set a new career high with 22 kills in the Blue Hens 3-1 victory over UNC Wilmington on October 3 • came up with 22 digs against Santa Clara to finish the Notre Dame Tournament, breaking her career best • named to the CAA All-Tournament Team in helping the Blue Hens record their third championship in four seasons • recorded 31 kills, 25 digs, and 10 blocks in two matches, including the tournament deciding point with a block assist, during the weekend • tallied 11 double-doubles (kills-digs) on the season, including a 17-kill, 22-dig performance vs. Santa Clara and a 19-kill, 18-dig performance at Georgia State • named to the CAA Academic Honor Roll.

2009: Earned a spot on the CAA All-Rookie team after piecing together a strong freshman campaign • led team to CAA title and an NCAA Tournament berth • ranked third on the team with 239 kills and 59 blocks • honored as the CAA Rookie of the Week on Sept. 28 • tallied 25 kills, including 14 against Seton Hall on Sept. 23, during Delaware’s three victories that week • ripped at least 10 kills in 13 matches during the season, highlighted by 15 in the team’s four-set victory over Pittsburgh on Nov. 28 • notched 11 kills on back-to-back days against James Madison and George Mason on Oct. 23-24 • posted a team-best .588 hitting percentage against Rutgers on Sept. 5 after launching 12 kills against only two errors in 17 attempts • that performance marked the eighth-highest attack percentage in a single match by any player in the CAA during the campaign • blasted all three of her aces during the season in the fourth and fifth sets in a 3-2 come-from-behind victory over Hofstra on Nov. 15 • recorded a season-high four blocks on three occasions and had at least two in seven straight matches from Oct. 30 - N ov. 27.

High School: Standout at Scripps Ranch High School • named the California Interscholastic Federation Player of the Year and was a four-year selection to the All-CIF team • perennial member of the first-team All-Western League squad • helped lead her Epic Club Team to a fifth place finish at the 2008 Junior Olympic Nationals in Dallas, Tex. • four-year member of the student government • served as the senior class secretary • active member of the March of Dimes Youth Council • honor roll student.

Personal: Alissa Corey Alker ("al-kerr") • daughter of Kathy and Gerry Alker • has an older sister, Ashley • has a second degree Black Belt in Taekwondo • business management and marketing major at Delaware with a minor in international business • team representative on UD Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) • worked as an intern with Prudential Realty during the summer • has visited every continent except Antarctica.
