At Delaware: First-year member of the squad • one of five true freshman on the team • will battle for playing time as an outside hitter • dynamic hitter in the mold of former UD standouts Kelly Gibson and Kim Stewart.
High School: Three-time All-Western Buckeye League selection and was twice named first team All-District 8 for head coach Jodi Benda • four-year starter who was named the team’s Offensive Player of the Year and Team Most Valuable Player twice • ended her career with a school-record 1,103 kills, which ranks 32nd on Ohio’s high school career kills list • membership of Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Personal: Sarah Elizabeth "Liz" Brock • daughter of Blain and Becky Brock • born Sept. 14, 1993 • oldest of four children • cognitive science major at Delaware • career objective is to be a speech pathologist • fan of the Cincinnati Reds (MLB) • avid soccer player as a youngster before taking up volleyball in the fourth grade with her mother as her coach.
