At Delaware: Second-year member of the squad • will battle for increased playing time as a defensive specialist and libero.
2011 Season: Earned first letter as a sophomore backup • led team to record of 21-13, a Colonial Athletic Association Tournament title, and an NCAA Tournament berth for head coach Bonnie Kenny • played in 71 sets during 29 matches in first year seeing action for Delaware • set career-highs with eight digs (Oct. 10 at William & Mary) • had 10 perfect serving games which included two 11-for-11 games, last on Nov. 19 vs. James Madison • played in every set during Colonial Athletic Association Tournament.
2010 Season: Did not see action and retained year of eligibility • named to the CAA Academic Honor Roll.
High School: Excelled as a defensive specialist / libero at Morristown High School • served as a team captain for three years and was honored as the MVP four times • earned first-team All-Morris County, All-Daily Record, and All-NJAC honors • also was selected to the third-team All-Group 3 squad and was named a 2010 New Jersey All-Star • chosen as the Morristown High School Outstanding Female Athlete in the Class of 2010 for her performance on the court • did not begin playing volleyball until high school.
Personal: Kori Dean Reigel ("ree-gul") • daughter of Daryl and Kim Reigel • born June 2, 1992 • climbed Mt. Whitney, the highest summit in the contiguous United States, becoming one of the youngest summiters at the age of 10 • honor student majoring in exercise science at Delaware • volunteer with UD Department of Physical Therapy during the summer.
