As A Blue Hen: Fourth-year member of the Blue Hens who has earned three letters • will look to again contribute in the Delaware frontcourt in her senior season.

2012-13 Season: Competed in all but one game, while starting two for Delaware as a junior • averaged 2.1 points and 2.1 rebounds in 9.1 minutes per contest • put up a career-high 10 points on 5-of-9 shooting from the field in a career-high 31 minutes in the team’s NCAA First Round Tournament win over West Virginia (3/24) • contributed 4.3 points, 3.0 rebounds and a 50.0 percent shooting mark in team’s three NCAA Tournament contests • tied a career-high with two blocks in regular season finale against Georgia State (3/6) • dished out a season-high two assists against Old Dominion (2/14) • attempted first career 3-pointer against UNCW (1/24) • collected three free throws, seven rebounds, two blocks, one assists and one steal against Princeton (12/9) • posted eight points, seven rebounds and one blocked shot  against St. Bonaventure (11/28) • blocked first shot of the season at Duquesne (11/14) • scored six points and grabbed two rebounds during UD’s season-opening victory over Sam Houston State (11/9).

2011-12 Season: Appeared in 26 games for the Blue Hens, averaging 10.2 minutes per contest • contributed 3.4 points and 2.3 rebounds per game • connected on 64.8 percent (35 of 54) of her field goal attempts • went 19 of 21 from the free throw line • scored seven points, going 2 of 2 from the field and 3 of 3 from the free throw line, during the season-opening win over Rhode Island (11/11) • recorded four rebounds and two points during the victory at Princeton (12/1) • scored six points and grabbed three rebounds in the win over William & Mary (12/4) • scored five points and collected four rebounds during the victory over Yale (12/5)• scored six points during the win at Providence (12/19) • recorded six points and two boards in the win vs. UNCW (1/12 ) • contributed six points and three rebounds during the win at Towson (1/19) • went 4 of 4 from the field to finish with nine points against Hofstra (1/26) • grabbed six boards during the victory over VCU (2/5 ) • went 4 of 4 from the foul line and pulled down three rebounds in the win vs. Old Dominion (2/9) • went 3 of 3 from the floor and 2 of 2 from the line for eight points at Georgia State (2/12) • scored six points during the win over George Mason (2/23) • recorded four points and three rebounds vs. Northeastern (2/26) • dished out a career-high four assists during the victory at William & Mary (2/29) • scored a career-high 10 points and pulled down six boards during the CAA Tournament Semifinal win over UNCW (3/10) • earned the Team Most Improved Player Award.

2010-11 Season: Saw action in 23 games, including two starts against Georgia State (1/23) and George Mason (1/27) • averaged 2.1 points and 2.1 rebounds per game • played her finest game against Alcorn State (12/30), tallying a career-high nine points, going 4 of 10 from the field and pulling down seven rebounds while playing in 21 minutes • recorded a career-high eight rebounds against Princeton (12/1) • scored seven points and grabbed four rebounds versus Vanderbilt (12/29) • went 3 for 3 from the field to finish with six points against George Mason (1/27) • had four points and three rebounds during a win at Georgia State.

High School: Played all four years at two-time Virginia State Champion Freedom High School • posted a triple-double in first game of state playoffs • holds state blocks record with 10 • named Player of the Year and All-State in 2010 • earned All-Regional Player of the Year accolades • graduated with over 1,500 points • member of the National Honor Society in junior and senior years • honor roll student all four years.

Personal: Kelsey Leigh Buchanan • daughter of Ralph Buchanan and Lenora Johnson • has one younger brother • pregame ritual includes listening to the same playlist and wearing lucky socks • mother played basketball at Lafayette • began playing basketball in sixth grade • chose Delaware because she loved the campus • honor student as a human services major at Delaware, with aspirations to become a guidance counselor • worked for Newark major Vance Funk over the summer • visited Cape Town, South Africa over the summer.
