As A Blue Hen: Second-year member of the Blue Hens • has three years of eligibility remaining beginning in 2013-14.

2012-13 Season: Sat out season due to NCAA transfer regulations.

At Boston College: 2011-12 Season: Appeared in all 30 games for the Eagles, making nine starts and averaging 17.6 minutes per contest • contributed 4.8 points and 3.0 rebounds per game • shot 43.4 percent from the field • ranked second on the team with 27 steals • reached double figures during five games • scored a season-high 13 points in a loss at Saint Joseph's on Dec. 29 • narrowly missed a double-double with 10 points and a season-high nine rebounds in a win over Massachusetts on Dec. 7.

High School: Played for head coach Nsonji White at Stonewall Jackson High School • averaged 21 points, 12 rebounds, three steals and four blocks a game as a senior • named to Virginia’s All-State, All-District, and All-Region first teams • conference and region Player of the Year as a senior • earned Virginia All-State honorable mention nod as a junior • placed second in the shot put at the Virginia State Track Meet • named first team All-State in track as a junior and senior • honor roll student.

Personal: Joy N. Caracciolo • born on December 21, 1992 • daughter of Derek and Gloria Caracciolo • has an older sister, Jasmine, who played basketball at Virginia State • both parents played basketball at Howard University • swam for the Victory Lakes Piranhas Swim Team • member of the school and church choir • has not declared a major at Delaware.
