2010-11 Season: Sat out the season as a redshirt after having back surgery to repair a herniated disk • earned honorable mention Colonial Athletic Association All-Academic honors.
2009-10 Season: Served as a co-captain with Eva Riddick • saw action in 24 games • made 20 starts after sitting out the first nine games of the season due to NCAA transfer regulations • contributed 85 points and 43 rebounds for the Blue Hens • averaged 3.5 points and 1.8 boards per game • dished out a team-high 74 assists, made 27 steals and blocked one shot on the season • tallied a season-high 10 points against George Mason (2/8) • added nine against Drexel (1/17) and Buffalo (12/22) • drained a pair of three-pointers against George Mason (3/11) and Massachusetts (12/30) • pulled down a season-high six rebounds against Old Dominion (3/13) in the semifinals of the Colonial Athletic Association Tournament • dealt a team season-high seven assists against Towson (1/28) and six against UNC Wilmington (1/14) • made a trio of steals on four different occasions • played a season-high 40 minutes versus Old Dominion and twice against Drexel (3/12 and 1/17) • named to the CAA All-Academic second team • selected as Delaware's nominee for the CAA Dean Ehlers Leadership Award • presented the Joyce Perry Memorial Coaches' Award at the annual women's basketball banquet.
At George Washington: 2008-09 Season: Transferred to Delaware from George Washington following the fall 2008 semester • appeared in seven games for the Colonials, averaging 1.3 points and 0.9 rebounds in six minutes per contest • scored nine points on 3 of 4 shooting from the field and 2 of 2 shooting from the free throw line while adding two assists in 17 minutes against Coppin State.
High School: Three-time All-State selection who led Ursuline Academy to the 2005, 2006 and 2008 state championships • averaged 14.0 points, 6.0 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game to earn first team All-State honors as a senior in 2008 • 2006 honorable mention All-State and 2007 third team All-State selection • four-time all-conference selection who earned first team honors as a junior and senior • member of Spirit Club.
Personal: Kayla Noel Miller • daughter of Jeff and Karen Miller • has a sister Kelsey, a former Miss Delaware Teen USA who attends UD, and a brother, Dylan • father played football at Susquehanna University • earned her degree in exercise science • currently is a sport management major at Delaware • works for the Wilmington Blue Rocks over the summer • enjoys dancing, exercising, writing, listening to music, and hanging out with friends during her free time.
