University of Delaware Men’s and Women’s Basketball Individual Game Tickets On Sale Monday

NEWARK, Del. -- Individual game tickets for 2010-11 University of Delaware men’s and women’s basketball home games went on sale Monday, November 1.
Ticket prices for Blue Hen men’s games were not increased for the 2010-11 season. Tickets in the center sections on each side of the court (sections 7, 8, 17 and 18) cost $16, while all other chairback seats (sections 15, 16, 19 and 20) cost $14. Bench seats on the south side of the arena (sections 5, 6, 9 and 10) cost $12, while all endcourt seats (sections, 1, 2, 3 and 4) were lowered to $10. Youth endcourt seats (17 years and younger) were also lowered and are now only $5.
For UD women’s games tickets in the center sections on each side of the court (sections 7, 8, 17 and 18) cost $15, while all other chairback seats (sections 15, 16, 19 and 20) cost $12. Bench seats on the south side of the arena (sections 5, 6, 9 and 10) cost $10, while all endcourt seats (sections 1, 2, 3 and 4) cost $9. Like men’s games, youth endcourt seats (17 years and younger) are also $5.
Returning this season is the opportunity to purchase courtside floor seating for both teams. Individual game tickets, if available, for courtside seating cost $50 for men’s games and $35 for women’s games, and courtside seating priority will be given to UDAF members.

Parking will be complementary for all men’s and women’s basketball home games during the 2010-11 season.
Individual game tickets can be purchased in person at the Bob Carpenter Center Ticket Office on Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tickets can also be purchased in person at the Trabant University Center Ticket Office on Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m, and at the UD Athletic Ticket Office in the Delaware Field House on Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Delaware women’s basketball team will play 14 games at the Bob Carpenter Center this season, including its season-opener against UMBC on Friday, November 12 at 7 p.m. The UD men will have 12 home games this year, including their home opener versus Howard on Friday, November 19 at 8 p.m.
Special group opportunities are also available this season for both men’s and women’s games, including birthday party packages for kids, the Hens’ high five tunnel, and youth scrimmages/performances at halftime. Contact the Athletics Marketing department at 831-8961 for availability.
