Men's and Women's Basketball To Hold Special Promotional Nights

NEWARK, Del. -- The University of Delaware Athletic Marketing department has announced two promotional nights for the men’s and women’s basketball teams the week of January, 24.
On Monday, Jan. 24, the men’s basketball team will sponsor Service Appreciation Night in a game to be aired on ESPN. As the Blue Hens take on George Mason at 9 p.m. in the Bob Carpenter Center, the Blue Hens are inviting all veterans, military, police, fire and EMS service personnel and their families to attend the game for just $1 (single game tickets only). Proper service identification will be required.
On Thursday, Jan. 27, the women’s basketball team will also take on the George Mason Patriots in the Bob Carpenter Center. The Blue Hens will be sponsoring Ladies Night at the 7 p.m. game. All ladies will receive $1 admission on single game tickets only, and will be included in other specials throughout the night.
