- Has earned two letters for the Blue Hens. 2008 Season: Competed in four meets for the Blue Hens • finished a team-best 47th at the George Mason Invitational in 23:57 • was 66th at the CAA Championships in 24:10 • placed 70th at the Princeton Invitational in 25:04.7 and 26th at the Delaware Invitational in 19:54 • named to CAA Academic Honor Roll • 2009 Season: Competed in seven events to earn a second letter • finished a team-best 4th at the Blue & Gold Invitational in 19:03.3 • finished 33rd at the ECAC Championships in 18:55.5 • finished 4th at the Delaware Invitational in 19:03.52 • finished 27th at the James Madison Open in 20:13.5 • finished 17th at the CAA Championships in 21:57.80 • finished 140th at the Paul Short Invitational in 22:15 • finished 47th at the NCAA Regional Championships in 22:52 • named Army ROTC Best of the Blue Hens Athlete of the Week on October 19 • named to the CAA Academic Honor Roll • Team Most Improved Award • ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-American nominee.

Indoor Track & Field - 2008-09 Season: Did not compete • 2009-10 Season: Did not compete in any meets for Delaware

Outdoor Track & Field - Two-year letterwinner • 2009 Season: Ran the 3,000 meters in 11:24.55 at the West Chester Open and the 5,000 meters in 19:43.68 at the CAA Championships (23rd place) • 2010 Season: Qualified for the ECAC Championships in the 10,000 meters with a team-fastest 37:17.36 at the Colonial Relays at William & Mary • finished second in the 5,000 meter at the Towson Invitational with a squad-best 17:48.39 • ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-American nominee • CAA Academic Honor Roll.

High School: Standout distance runner and volleyball player at Newark High School • named cross country Most Valuable Player her senior year • raced in the Meet of Champions in outdoor track • member of Spanish National Honor Society • Secretary of Student Government • salutatorian of graduating class.

Personal: Jessica Lea "Jessie" Ermak • born Dec. 25, 1989 • honor student as a wildlife conservation major with a minor in biology • daughter of Rick Ermak and Joan Kosinski • father is a respiratory therapist • enjoys baking, reading, and hiking • worked as an environmental educator at Cape Henlopen (Del.) State Park this past summer • has also worked as a pool manager.
