Cross Country: Second-year member of the cross country and track and field squads at Delaware • 2009 Season: Competed in two events for the Blue Hens • finished 34th at the Delaware Invitational in 20:28.03 • finished 41st at the Blue & Gold Invitational in 20:41.5.
Indoor Track & Field: Has earned one letter • 2009-10 Season: Posted a team-best 18:09.45 in the 5,000 meters at the Lafayette/Rider Invitational • first Blue Hen to finish the mile at the UD/Thomson Invitational with a time of 5:26.55 for her season best in the event • finished in 19th in the 3,000 meter event at the Penn State Open with a time of 10:56.71.
Outdoor Track & Field: Has earned one letter • finished in second place at the Delaware Open II in the 3,000 meter in 10:51.34 • completed the 10,000 meter run at the CAA Championships with a time of 40:44.80.
High School: Four-year standout in cross country and track and field at Caesar Rodney High School • earned eight letters • earned All-State honors in cross country as a sophomore, junior, and senior.
Personal: Leeann Rae Seiwell • born July 16, 1991 • daughter of Kevin and Jackie Seiwell • has a younger sister • dietics major at Delaware • worked as a rehabilitation technician during the summer • enjoys yoga, biking, and volunteering at physical therapy clinic in her spare time • calls her uncle, Stuart Shebest, a collegiate cross country runner, her greatest influence in running.
