Cross Country -
Second-year member of the Blue Hens. 2010 Season: Competed in all but one meet during her freshman season • finished 139th in 24:56.6 at the Delaware Invitational and 26th in 20:37.8 at the Delaware Invitational • placed 260th in 24:14 at the Paul Short Invitational and 43rd in 21:00.73 at the Blue & Gold Invitational • finished 72nd in 24:02 at the CAA Championships and 165th in 24:37 at the NCAA Regionals • was 13th in 20:34.6 in the open race of the ECAC Championships.

Indoor Track & Field - Second-year member of the Blue Hens. 2010-11 Season: Ran the 800 meters in 2:30.18 at the Princeton Invitational and the 1,000 meters in 3:13.72 at the Maryland Invitational • finished the mile in 5:26.45 at the Gotham Cup and the 3,000 meters in 11:51.84 at the Lehigh Invitational.

Outdoor Track & Field - Second-year member of the Blue Hens. 2011 Season: Won the 1,500 meters at the West Chester Open with a time of 4:55.95 • ran the 800 meters in 2:27.88 at the Delaware Open.

High School: Three-sport athlete, competing in cross country, track & field and field hockey at East Stroudsburg North High School • earned two varsity letters in cross country, three in field hockey and four in track & field • took fourth place in the Mountain Valley Conference in cross country in senior year • track captain in junior and senior season • three-time 1,600m MVC champion • won MVC 800m title while qualifying for states her senior season • National Honor Society • graduated second in her class.

Personal: Alyssa Nicole Kennedy • born Sept. 27, 1992 • daughter of Kevin and Heidi Kennedy • food science major at Delaware • has one younger sister • has to have peanut butter before an event and wears special socks • lists father, a basketball coach, as biggest supporter in all her sports, while track coach, David Krupski, had biggest influence on running • has aspirations to work in food development and nutrition fields • is on the committee to help plan the University’s Ag Day this spring.
